The Robotique CRC Robotics rules are available at www.sciencetech.ca / www.robo-crc.ca. All participants and teams must comply to these rules. Teams failing to do so may be subject to sanctions, which may include disqualification. The Educational Alliance for Science & Technology (EAST) and its organizations are in charge of organizing the Robotique CRC Robotics, as well as enforcing the appropriate rules.
Participant, less than 18 years old. Authorisation and discharge
Permission is hereby given for my son/daughter/ward to travel to and participate in the upcoming Robotique CRC Robotics. I hereby release and forever discharge the members of the Robotique CRC Robotics Organizing Committee and EAST and all their agents, officers and employees from all manner of legal actions, claims or demands which may arise from or be caused by the attendance of the child at the Robotique CRC Robotics. I further agree that should the child be the cause of any damage, loss, injury to another person, or prejudice to any organization while attending the Robotique CRC Robotics, I will indemnify the members of the Organizing Committee, and EAST. I also understand that the child will be disqualified and sent home immediately, at my expense, if he/she does not behave as expected with due respect for the rights, health and safety of other participants and the general public, or if he/she behaves in an offensive manger, or if he/she is disqualified for not respecting the rules. All participants agree to respect the rules explained; failure to respect these rules may result in disqualification. I agree that the registration fees will not be reimbursed.
Participant, 18 years old and over. Declaration and discharge

I further agree that should I be the cause of any damage, loss, injury to another person, or prejudice to any organization while attending the Robotique CRC Robotics, I will indemnify the members of the Organizing Committee, and EAST. I also understand that I will be disqualified and sent home immediately, at my own expense, if I do not behave, with due respect for the rights, health and safety of other participants and the general public, or if I behave in an offensive manger, or if I am disqualified for not respecting the rules. I agree to respect the rules explained; failure to respect these rules may result in disqualification. I agree that the registration fees will not be reimbursed.
Release of information
Pursuant to matters on freedom of information and protection of privacy, I hereby give permission to EAST and its organizations, to release my son/daughter/ward’s name, picture, video tape, and/or image, as the case may be, for publication in the media, or to sponsors or prize donors. In compliance with the aforementioned, EAST and its organizations shall not release personal information to any organization other than those specified previously. Except for the Organizing Committee, no one may film or photograph whatsoever without the express permission of the participant. EAST and its organizations shall undertake all necessary measures in order to protect the intellectual property of the participants. Since pictures and films will be taken by EAST and its organizations during the Robotique CRC Robotics, I hereby give permission to EAST and its organizations permission to use those pictures and films in whole or parts for publicity purposes in brochures, magazines, newspapers, televisions, etc. All said material whether used in whole or in parts remains at all times the property of EAST and its organizations.
